Paleo Treats Review

paleo-desserts

I love this company because their desserts are so delicious and they are made to satisfy the requirements of those on the Paleo diet program. Since I started the Paleolithic diet, I was wondering how I was going to quiet my sweet tooth; so I searched on the web and I found the Paleo Treats company.

The Paleo Treats company is located in San Diego, California but if you don't live there, they ship to all the states in the USA and internationally. Their desserts are made out of natural ingredients without added sugar or wheat flour. My two favorites are the Brownie Bomb and Cacao Now and then followed by the Bandito.

The Brownie Bomb is that "The Bomb". It is dark chocolate moist perfection. You wouldn't believe that a brownie that is made with honey, pecans, eggs, coconut oil, cocoa powder, and almond flour would taste that good.

Cacao Now is similar to the almond bar you might get from high-end candy stores. At first, I wasn't too happy about raisins in my dessert but they grew on me really fast. I even think it might be my first choice with The Brownie Bomb coming in second.  The ingredients in Cacao Now are honey, cacao butter, almonds, raisins, cacao powder, pistachios, goji berries.

The next runner up is The Bandito and it reminds me of a peanut butter cup. If like Reese's peanut butter cups then you will love The Bandito.  This wonderful chocolate delight is made up of almond flour, roasted almond butter, coconut oil, honey, cacao butter, flax meal, dried unsweetened coconut, cacao powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt.

They have two more products that don't have chocolate, they are The Mustang bar and The Mac Attack. They were only okay with me because I LOVE CHOCOLATE. However, it doesn't mean they aren't good, they just aren't MY favorites.

The Price

Some might find Paleo Treats too expensive, for 10 treats it cost $57 plus shipping. For me, it wasn't too bad because it has taken me more than 2 weeks to finish them off. Also, the treats are just for me and not anyone else, but if you are buying for more that one person, it can be costly.  With that said, if you want to try them and have the extra cash lying around, I say go ahead because nothing beats almost organic, GMO-free and natural products that taste oh so good!

  4. They look yummy but for the cost I'd like to make them myself.

There was an old Fritos commercial referencing the Frito Bandito and it popped into my head reading about The Bandito in your post. LOL
