Smoothie Cleanse Diet

Easiest Way To Lose 5 Pounds

I have had friends, clients and relatives ask me how can they lose 5 to 10 pounds fast because they are attending an event or wanting to get photo-ready.  I usually don't recommend this if you have a lot of weight to lose.  However,  if you need to jumpstart a weight loss program or lose 5 to 10 pounds for an important event, the smoothie cleanse diet is for you.

You drink 2 smoothies a day along with one meal and two snacks. You can have your meal at lunchtime or at dinnertime, it is up to you. The length of the program is five to 10 days and that's it.

If you need to lose more weight, then a low-calorie eating plan should be implemented.  You have to think of it as a lifestyle change by learning to incorporate more vegetables, fruits, and leaner meats into your diet.

I have provided a couple of smoothie recipes for you to check out and you can use low-fat dairy, soy, rice or almond milk for your smoothie.  Try not to drink soy smoothies every day because soy has a tendency to compromise thyroid functioning.

Remember everything in moderation.  Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water a day with this program because water gives you the sensation of being full.
