Cooking Light magazine has come out with The Great Halloween Candy Guide and they list 40 candy bars from the best to the worst to hand out at Halloween. My favorite the York Peppermint Pattie is in the middle of that list.
I usually tell my clients if they have a taste for a candy bar, they should get the York bar because it only has 140 calories and 2.5 grams of fat with no trans fat. The York Peppermint Pattie is large enough to satisfy a chocolate craving. If you don't like the taste for peppermint or dark chocolate, you can opt for a Mounds bar. A Mounds bar has 195 calories with 11 grams of fat but it has 2 grams for protein, which could satisfy your sweet craving. The protein the bar provides can make you fill full.
