Body For Life - A Throwback Challenge Program

This program was the "Thing" in the late 1990s and early 2000s. It was one of the first programs to use the internet to help people transform their bodies through diet, protein products and exercise.

The people in his challenge would weigh in, take before and after pictures and compose an essay on why they should be considered the champion in their age and gender category. Bill Phillips provided a meal plan with one free day and a workout his challengers needed to follow. He also encouraged them to eat and drink protein shapes by EAS. At that time, I think he owned the company. Abbott Labs bought his company eventually.  Prizes were given out and the prize money was in the thousands. Bill Phillips and EAS changed many lives.

On Monday, I decided to do the challenge even though the program looks to be in disarray. I'm in my fifties and I want to see if I can get a smoking hot bode, LOL. My friends are like. "you look good already" but I want see if I can achieve "The Dream". It is my own personal challenge and I won't be taking  any supplements. I will eat 6 small meals a day with protein shakes and bars as a meal replacement. However, this week, I'm doing my Smoothie Jumpstart Diet to bring my weight down fast. The six meals a day diet will start next week. I will post my before pictures next week because it takes courage to display your flaws.

Update on weight and workouts:
Weight on Sunday 154
Today's weight 4/27/16 152
Workouts are going great

If you are interested in the Body For Life program, you can purchase the book or join the challenge.
