Detox From Sugar Challenge

Starts January 4, 2016

I have a new Facebook group challenge starting Monday, January 4, 2016. If you consumed too much sugar this holiday season or just interested in decreasing your intake of sugar, join my group. 

You will have to request to join The Salad Challenge group and after you must sign a contract to participate in Detox from Sugar Challenge. The contract is an agreement to participate three to four days a week with pictures of your meals and/or commenting on how you are doing with the challenge. I found the more you comment in the group, the better you will stick to the challenge and complete the program. 

Here are the rules to the Detox from Sugar Challenge:

1. Eat a salad or green smoothie a day
2. Drink 8 glasses a water a day
3. No soda or fruit juice
4. No bread
5. No pasta
6. No sugar except honey or agave
7. No candy, cookies, cakes
8. No fried foods
9. No white rice. You can have wild or brown rice but 1/2 cup(250ml) cooked
10. Weigh in on day one in the morning
11. 6 Days A Week & 1 Day Free(1 meal free) for the month of January
12. Sign the participation contract

  1. I gave up sugar starting in 2008 and slowly lost 60 lbs over the next 2 years (2010). I have maintained that loss since then. It is truly amazing. I was fat my whole life until I learned what sugar does.
