Ladies, Don't Wear Cheap Leggings

leggings

Yesterday I was walking out of a store and a twenty something young lady walked by me, can someone say, labia majora. That is all I could see, as she walked by me to the delight of the man waiting for his bus. Her leggings were so cheap, she might as well have worn black stockings, they looked about the same. Spend the money, don't wear cheap leggings.

Some of you might be wondering, "Aren't you a frugal blogger?" I am, I'm frugal but not cheap. When I buy my exercise clothes, I do tend to buy high end workout clothes especially pants. I find that well made or high end workout pants can last a few years. They also have the tendency to hold their color(s) after many washes. As my husband would say, "Cheap is expensive".

If you don't have the money to spend on more expensive leggings, save up and buy them when they go on sale. I always buy on sale. One of the companies I purchase pants from is BlueFish, which I am an affiliate vendor or San Diego Fit which has many brand names on their site like Margarita, INZA, Bia Brazil, Alo Yoga, and many more.

If you love leggings like I do, please spend some money on a good pair and don't purchase them at the drugstore or dollar store.  Because if you don't heed my warning, someone might end up ogling your nether regions.

  1. Ewww. I see a lot of young women (this makes me sound old) wearing really snug leggings and yoga pants; doing themselves no favors. Yikes. Check the mirror!

  2. AMEN. Bad leggings can be a nightmare. How do you feel about Lululemon? I've never owned a pair, but I've had my eye on a few of their designs for the past few weeks.

  8. Totally agree with you on this! Spending a little extra can make a difference. I'm always worried about my leggings when I do PiYo and yoga - gotta check to make sure they aren't see-through when you're doing a down dog lol ;) #wowlinkup

  12. I'm so afraid of that image you have painted that I won't even wear leggings! LOL. I even make my poor husband go shopping with me when I buy yoga pants to be sure I'm not going to embarrass myself. Ha!
