Comcast Exercise Television

Free Fitness Programs

Do you hate gyms or don't have the resources or the time to go to the health club? You might want to try working out in the comfort of your home with fitness television On Demand.  A lot of Comcast or Xfinity subscribers don't know about this little secret with their cable package.  Last week my friend Bill told me that he discovered this and was working out at home. He asked did I know anything about it.  I told him,"Yes, for at least 5 years I have been using it".

To find Comcast Exercise Television, you must go to On Demand and go to the Sports and Fitness tab, click on it and select fitness workouts. You will then see the vast amount of workouts and categories available for you to choose from.  If you are a beginner, you might want to try the 1 mile or 2 mile walk or the beginning pilates or yoga workouts.  For the intermediate and advanced exerciser, go for the gusto and have fun with it.  The great thing about the fitness channel, they rotate the exercise programs every few months.

  4. Oh, that's probably the only part of Comcast that I loved! We're without cable, but I used the Exercise TV all the time when I had it. Do they still have belly dancing? That was my fave.

    1. They still have it Femme. I took a belly-dance class but I stopped doing it.

  6. We had comcast until last year. I had no idea they had this, great idea! It would definitely be nice for people that didn't want to go to the gym and work out from home instead.

  9. One of my co-workers who can't afford a gym membership told me about work-out programs on TV. She can't say enough good things about the workouts she had found.

  17. With exercise bikes, as with all fitness exercise machines you will only get what you pay for so buying the cheapest bike you can find is not really the best or most economical plan. Informative post
