Need A Break? Find A Getaway Deal On SpaFinder

SpaFinder Wellness  *Update 5/10/2015

I had a rough day today both physically and mentally, and I really need a break. What do you do when you need more "ME" time?  I used to head off to the local spa. I seldom gave a second thought over how much money I spent on my favorite treatments. Ever since I went "frugal" on my expenses, trying to become debt free, spa treatments went kaput. However, the urge to indulge myself is strong and I will satisfy it the smart way; the "frugal" way.

Because of my demanding exercise regiment, I feel muscle tension from time to time. Massages are my favorite treatments but I am also quite fond of "body scrubs," especially in the winter. Nothing beats a total body scrub to make your skin feel so soft on a cold winter day.  And of course, name one woman who doesn't love a relaxing manicure and pedicure!  Right...  I didn't think so....

For my birthday, my friends offered me a gift certificate from SpaFinder. SpaFinder is the largest supplier of spa, wellness, and beauty gift cards. It connects those seeking a healthier lifestyle with spa, fitness, and wellness providers around the world. If you are seeking a day or a destination spa, you can simply type www.Spafinder.com  *Update 2015

I just found a spa that is offering an exclusive deal.  The 3 hour package gives you a choice of massage or facial, and a basic manicure and pedicure for $137.00.  My gift card is $175.00; that should cover everything including the tip. I will let you know about my experience at that spa, in two weeks.  Also, if you have a loved one who enjoys the pampering stuff, you can't go wrong with a gift certificate from SpaFinder.  Who knows, maybe you could give the hubby or another family member a hint for your next celebration.

Out of curiosity, what is your favorite spa treatment?

  3. Lucky girl!!! My favorite is just a standard medium-pressure massage...releases toxins and feels incredible. Hope you enjoyed your spa treatments :) Oh, and happy belated birthday!

    1. Thanks Steph, I like medium pressure too. If they are too deep, it is really hurts my muscles. Have a happy Easter.
