Core Slider Exercises

I love doing core (stomach and lower back) exercises with The Gliding Discs.  It really strengthens that area.  I've gone from having a semi-strong core to a very strong one. For the following exercises, if you don't have gliding discs, you can use two hand towels for a wood or tile floor and two frisbees if you are on a rug or carpet.  Check out my video on working the core with the discs and let me know if you like it or not.

  1. I need that core strengthening badly. For some reason I never lose that stomach fat no matter what I do :(

    1. Try documenting what you eat with a free online food diary like Fat Secret. You might be taking in too many calories.

  2. At Val do lots of cardio & cut down on carbs. That will get rid of some of your belly fat. Also if you have a hula hoop, hula hoop at least 3 times a week for 5 mins & you will notice a difference. Coming from a mom of 3 kids all C-section babies

    2. You can do this workout, just build up, if you can't do it all. Instead of 16 reps do 8. Try it with your spouse and let me know how it goes.

  5. I was unable to get in on the warm up or boot camp after the walk, I was working the table; however I was truly impressed & wanted to sneak out there. I use to love to do this exercise, but due to some injuries it puts to much strain on my back. I would love your help & thank you for your time, expertise, & donation.
